      • ASC: Sort in ascending order.

      • DESC: Sort in descending order.

      • USER_DEFINED_ORDER: Preserve the order in which the values were entered.

      If the service returns an enum value that is not available in the current SDK version, direction will return ControlSortDirection.UNKNOWN_TO_SDK_VERSION. The raw value returned by the service is available from directionAsString().
